The first prototype is finished: the carefully chosen motors perform excellently, the suspension is surprisingly solid, only the chassis of the robots needs another revision. The French gear motors are said to be a Moroccan production, unbelievable!

The lightweight construction material will be air-ply also known as Multiplex. It’s amazing that this basic material is still contemporary and competitive. The gluing has a huge effect on the further preparation with laser and CNC-mill.

The chassis will be solely held together by strong connectors to reduce the weight and simplify the assembly of the objects. This still has to be optimized. Two hours per object sounds reasonable but considering the number of about 120 objects, it is not.
